Nori
Ramen restaurant Application with special focus on customization
There is no denying that Ramen is the most popular dish in Japanese cuisine and to no one's wonder ramen joints are drawing droves of diners, off-duty chefs, and seemingly everyone on your Instagram feed to them .By offering customisation this hearty broth and toothsome noodle dish elevates and offers an experience that three minute noodles cannot deliver. Nori aims to make you mumble “oishii” with every bite of their scrumptious ramen.
Role

The Problem statement
Ramen shops are usually crowded and queues get rather long. Waiting for more than forty minutes to just eat a bowl of ramen seems cumbersome. Often these bowls come with pre-fixed ingredients with little to no room for add ons during a busy and chaotic day.

Nori was the first project I ever worked on that has enabled me to do extensive research. I realised how important research is to ux through this project.
What I would do differently
Looking back at this project I just found a few ways that didn’t work for the app. From noticing mistakes in my UI to uncovering more foundational UX problems in my app, I’m thankful to have the time to reflect on this project. In the end, I worked hard to get the app ready as soon as I could. The process I went through to develop NORI helped me understand the principles of ux, and reflecting back helps me realise how far I have progressed from then, even if the premise of the app is rather simple. Not to mention, I have a better sense of how to obey Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) standards now!
